Reed Exhibitions will now look to Nancy Walsh to lead its North American business unit as president. Walsh’s promotion is effective immediately and she will report to Chet Burchett, president, Americas.

Walsh has a notably impressive 29-year tenure with the company. She began her career with an entry-level sales role and has continued to climb the ladder since. In her most recent role as an executive vice president, Walsh lead an aggressive effort to develop new business in Mexico. The company now hosts events in Mexico City and Guadalajara, with plans for further expansion.

"Nancy is uniquely prepared and qualified to lead the North American business," Burchett says in a release. "Her commitment has been unwavering and her contributions to our customers and our business have only grown as her career progressed. I fully expect that to continue in her new role."
