Palm Coast Data, the Florida-based fulfillment bureau, has named Rory Burke president and CEO. Burke, who was previously PCD’s executive vice president and COO, succeeds Michael Duloc, who who remains the CEO of PCD’s parent company, Palm Coast Data Holdco, Inc.

Among Burke’s immediate priorities is a renewed focus on client relations. According to a spokesperson, Burke will "continue expanding Palm Coast Data’s client engagement initiatives across all levels of the organization. A heightened emphasis on client participation will be crucial to PCD’s approach to developing timely joint solutions in both traditional and nontraditional fulfillment functions."

The spokesperson also mentioned that security is a top priority for Palm Coast Data, an acknowledgement of a recent report by Forbes that revealed magazine address labels provide easy access to a subscriber’s online account. PCD competitor CDS Global, Hearst and Condé Nast were swept up in the story.

"Palm Coast Data already provides multiple layers of security that other providers have not yet proactively addressed," quipped the spokesperson.

In the meantime, Burke is spearheading a $2.6 million tech investment focused on digital, ecommerce and consolidated database capabilities.
