Lori Rosen, who’s been executive director of the Custom Content Council since 2002, will be stepping down.
The seven-member board of directors, currently chaired by Andrew Seibert, managing partner at Imprint, will stay in place.
"We felt like it needed new creative thinking and synergies to take it to a new level," says Rosen. "We will have a strategic session in May and [Kellen] will develop some new ideas on what to do next."
Rosen took the executive director position when her PR firm The Rosen Group assumed management responsibilities of the CCC after it split from the MPA and became independent in 2001.
At the time, the CCC had about 25 members. Rosen has since brought that up to 65, which includes publisher agencies, independent agencies and vendor partners.
"It operated as a Rosen Group client," says Rosen, "with a separate staff and scope of services that included more than media relations—the conference, awards, website, member recruitment, member relations, events and media relations."
Of the three other CCC staff members, two will join Kellen and the third went to work for a member company.
