GIFT SHOP Magazine Sold

Great American Publishing Inc. bought the mag from Pinnacle Publishing Group.

Pinnacle Publishing Group sold GIFT SHOP Magazine to Great American Media Services.

Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

The company, a division of Great American Publishing Inc., has also purchased the supporting Web properties, as well as "Wrap Up," the magazines e-newsletter.

"This publication has a strong presence in the gift shop industry, and it is a natural fit for our retail division, which includes Stationery Trends, Museums & More and Party & Paper Retailer magazines," Matt McCallum, publisher and CEO, says in a statement.

GIFT SHOP targets an audience of specialty gift shop managers and buyers as a resource for information, products and ideas for the gift retailer. The quarterly magazine has a print circulation of over 30,000 and 60,000 in digital circulation through an emailed version of the magazine and app, according to its website.
