Forbes Media announced it’s rolling out a discrete site for its ForbesLife luxury brand. The new site is set to launch on September 2, 2014.
"The launch of ForbesLife.com further reinforces our multi-platform strategy to leverage our highly curated editorial content and visuals, as well as our unique contributor-based platform," Mike Perlis, Forbes Media President and CEO says in a statement. "We’re bringing the digital expertise we’ve gained in efficiently creating high quality content with great scale on Forbes.com to our new vertical ForbesLife.com."
The new site will call on more than 150 global contributors to publish daily features that will cover all things luxury.
Forbes says it will rely on responsive design to deliver a highly-visual experience that translates across platforms and devices. And it will build out the site with its own proprietary publishing system–Falcon.
ForbesLife.com will also leverage its BrandVoice platform, which will enable marketers to spread their message to an affluent audience through branded content.
In tandem with the site launch, ForbesLife will also introduce a native app and a redesigned print magazine, which will continue to publish five times a year.
