Bobit Business Media Acquires Auto Dealer Monthly

BBM adds print magazine, three sites and two newsletters to segment.

Bobit Business Mediahas acquired the print and digital properties of Auto Dealer Monthly, the company announced.

Included in the sale were print magazine Auto Dealer Monthly, three websites including and two weekly e-newsletters.

Financial terms of the deal were not released.

In a late-year flurry of activity, Bobit, based in Torrence, California, purchased for an undisclosed sum earlier this month.

ADM content focuses on a "broad range of dealer topics, including online marketing, special finance, service and lead generation."

"Auto Dealer Monthly is the perfect brand to expand our footprint in the auto dealer market," says Sherb Brown, BBM vice president and group publisher. "It has a strong base of advertiser and reader support that extends beyond the group we have traditionally reached with our F&I and Showroom Magazine."

BBM publishes 24 b-to-b magazines, 43 websites and 12 tradeshows and conference. While BBM boasts the world's largest collection of fleet titles, F&I and Showroom-serving the finance and insurance professionals at new car and truck dealerships-had been their only product aimed at dealers.
