ALM Hires Jeffrey Litvack To Oversee Digital Media
Litvack joins ALM after heading mobile departments with AP.
Jeffrey Litvack has joined ALM as senior vice president of Digital Media.
In the newly-created position, Litvack will oversee ALMâs corporate strategy for digital products. Specifically, he will be responsible for the companyâs existing online presence and on-going mobile developments.
âJeff has a unique combination of legal education, technology business understanding and digital media experience,â says Bill carter, president and CEO of ALM. âWe have some exciting opportunities in front of us with our portfolio of digital products and I look forward to working closely with Jeff as we aggressively exploit those opportunities in the months ahead.â
Litvack brings more than 20 years of media experience to ALM, serving most recently as COO and general manager of mobile advertising platform provider iCircular, a business unit of the Associated Press [AP]. He held a variety of other positions with AP as well, including general manager of global product development and general manager of mobile and emerging products, where he oversaw AP Mobile, the 2010 AP World Cup app and AP News for the iPad.
Litvackâs hiring comes days after ALM acquired digital content curation and âlisteningâ platform RivalEdge, and is the latest in a series of organizational changes Carter has instituted at ALM since taking over in March.
