Access Intelligence Acquires LeadsCon, Daily Deals Summit
Company forming a Customer Acquisition Board to serve lead-generation marketers.
Access Intelligence, owner of FOLIO: publisher Red 7 Media, announced today it has acquired LeadsCon, a portfolio that includes the biannual LeadsCon conference, a membership-based LeadsCouncil, the Daily Deal Summit series, an e-newsletter and other soon-to-be-announced marketing conferences and products.
New York-based LeadsCon, which serves the online lead generation industry, will continue to be led by president and founder Jay Weintraub. Co-founder and executive vice president of operations Michelle Troop, along with Weintraub, will be part of a newly created Access Intelligence Customer Acquisition Board, to also include Don Pazour, AIâ€™s president and CEO; Diane Schwartz, senior vice president of the companyâ€™s media/communications group, and Jenn Heinold, vice president of healthcare and aerospace events.
The board will oversee the execution of a multi-platform strategic plan to serve the marketing community with content, intelligence and business opportunities in the multibillion-dollar customer acquisition market.

The LeadsCon deal comes on the heels of several others AI has made over the last year, including the acquisition of Cynopsis Media, OR Manager and Red 7 Media.

LeadsCon, which held a record event this past February in Las Vegas, holds its East Coast event in New York this July. The Daily Deal Summit takes place in New York this April.
