Lance Lin has been named fashion editor with GQ. Previously, Lin worked with Polo Ralph Lauren as public relations director.

Andrea Stone is now the senior national correspondent with the Huffington Post. Stone is a former senior Washington correspondent, and will now cover general news with a focus on organized labor and the upcoming 2012 election.

Clement Tan is now based in Hong Kong as the China stocks correspondent for Thomson Reuters. Previously, Tan has worked for The Atlantic Monthly and BBC’s New York division.

Arlene Weintraub is now editor of Xconomy New York. Weintraub is formerly of BusinessWeek, where she wrote for 10 years.

Missy Schwartz has been promoted from senior writer to senior editor at Entertainment Weekly. Former senior editor Rob Brunner is now editor-at-large. Leah Greenblatt, formerly a music critic, has also been named senior editor.

Andrew Harmon, previously The Advocate’s senior editor, will now be the publication’s Washington correspondent/news director. Before joining The Advocate, Harmon acted as west coast editor and business writer for Conde Nast Publication’s Fairchild division. Matthew Breen has been named editor-in-chief of The Advocate, replacing Jon Barrett, who has moved to Entertainment Weekly as the Los Angeles bureau chief.

Greg Farrell, formerly a US business correspondent for the Financial Times, is now a reporter with Bloomberg News.

Sara Lepro will now report on large and national banks for American Banker. Lepro formerly acted as a reporter for the Associated Press and Inside Business Magazine.

Lauren Gelman is now executive editor, news with EverydayHealth.com. Prior to this, Gelman acted senior health editor for Prevention magazine.

Lauren Drell, previously multimedia journalist for AOL Small Business, is now assistant editor of supported content at Mashable.

Idris Moore has been named editor-in-chief and publisher for M/I/S/C magazine.

Stephen Dohery has been named editor-in-chief of recently re-launched Plein Air magazine.

Chris Engleman has been promoted to director of sales strategy for the ASG/Grind Network, and Jeff Baker has been moved to publisher of Snowboarder magazine.

Niche Media announced the appointment of Lana Bernstein as vice president of marketing and Suzanne Ruffa as vice president of national sales. Before joining Niche Media, Bernstein served at vice president of public relations for Ocean Drive Media Group. Ruffa has held positions at In Style, US Weekly, Vogue and Marie Claire.

Emily Chasen will join the Wall Street Journal’s upcoming CFO journal in April. Previously, Chasen acted as senior hedge funds reporter for Reuters.

Brendan Coffrey is now a writer with Forbes. Coffrey will continue to freelance and remain as contributing editor to Executive Travel and editor/analyst for Cabot Green Investor.

John Tayman, previously creative director of Men’s Health, has been named technology editor at TIME.

Elizabeth Spiers is now the editor-in-chief of The New York Observer. Spiers was founding editor for Gawker and also founded Breaking Media (originally Dead Horse Media).

Eliza Strickland, formerly news editor for Discover magazine, is now associate editor with IEEE Spectrum.

Dr. Rahul Parikh is now the PopRx columnist with Salon.com. Parikh is a pediatrician in the San Francisco area.

Megan Deem, formerly fashion features editor for InStyle, is now senior editor of the publication.

Alex Ulam has been named reporter with American Banker. Previously, Ulam acted as a freelance journalist with the publication.

Andrea Valdez is now associated editor with TexasMonthly.com. Valdez was formerly assistant editor with Texas Monthly.
