Moffly Media, a regional publisher serving Fairfield County, CT, is launching a new publication called Fairfield Living in November 2011.

Set to be a paid publication, the circulation at time of launch is expected to be 6,500.

Fairfield Living will join Moffly’s stable of publications, which includes Greenwich, New Canaan/Darien, Stamford, Westport and athome in Fairfield County.

“We know Fairfield well – it’s part of who we are. We’ve covered the town since 1998 within our titles. Along with the print publications, readers of Fairfield Living can expect us to build even more connections for the community. One of the ways is with our digital products. Another way is with our talked-about town events, which support local businesses and charitable organizations,” says publisher Gabriella Mays.

In June 2009, Moffly Media launched Stamford Magazine at the same time publisher Canaiden LLC announced an on-demand magazine provided by MagCloud of the same title.

Moffley president Jonathan Moffly claimed he had first dibs on the moniker, as he purchased the URL seven years earlier.

Canaiden owner Naiden Stoyanov responded at the time, “We have published Stamford Plus magazine for four years. Any attempt by Moffly to publish a ‘Stamford’ magazine will clearly cause confusion with our well-known publication, which is also referred to as ‘Stamford magazine’ by our readers. The magazine has carried the slogan ‘The Magazine for Stamford’ prominently since 2006.”

Canaiden has since released the on-demand title as Stamfordplus On Demand, and still produces the print version of Stamfordplus.
