Apple’s App Store has added another product to its portfolio—Martha Steward Living Omnimedia, Inc. announced the launch of a digital subscription plan for the iPad editions of both Martha Stewart Living and Everyday Food magazines.
The subscription models give readers the option to access an integrated bundle of both print and digital products. Right now, a digital-only subscription to the monthly iPad issue of Martha Stewart Living is $19.99 for 12 issues—for just about $5 more, users can get 12 issues of the print publication and a digital subscription for $24.
Current print subscribers will have free access to the digital iPad editions beginning this month and through the term of their subscriptions. A six-month digital only subscription plan is also available through purchase at the App Store for $11.99, while single copy issues will be $3.99 and accessible through the same model.
“We are excited to provide our dedicated print subscribers as well as new readers with subscription options that will make it even easier for them to access our highly engaging content on the iPad,” says Gael Towey, chief creative and editorial director for Martha Stewart Living Ominmedia.
Digital only subscriptions to Everyday Food’s monthly iPad edition are now $11.99 for 10 issues and a bundled print and digital subscription is $15 for 10 issues. A half year digital only subscription to the title is$7.99 and single copies for the iPad are $2.99.
Apps for both titles are available for free at the AppStore.
