Publishers, get ready for your close-up.

Kantar Media SRDS and Synaptic Digital have teamed up to offer The SRDS Video Media Kit, which introduces media planners to a publisher’s portfolio via video.

The video kits can be created using "sizzle reels" from existing videos such as event footage with subscribers and magazine staff or Synaptic Digital will help publishers create original video. The kits are then delivered via SRDS in a standardized template.

"These days it is increasingly difficult for a publisher’s advertising sales team to effectively communicate their entire multimedia offering," says Stephen Davis, president of Kantar Media SRDS. "The video format will allow publishers to tell a consistent, focused message. It’s akin to bringing an editor and a publisher on every sales call."
