Condé Nast has named new publishers at Bon Appetit and Details. Paul Jowdy, who had taken over as publisher of Bon Appetit after the departure of former publishing director Carol Smith last fall (Jowdy had also served as publisher prior to Smith's arrival and transitioned to a different sales role while she was there), now takes over as executive vp and publisher of Details (Steven DeLuca was fired as publisher of Details last fall).
Meanwhile, Pamela Drucker Mann, who was associate publisher, advertising for Glamour (and a former Condé Nast Salesperson of the Year winner) was named vice president and publisher of Bon Appetit.
Both report to William Wackermann, executive vice president, publishing director of Bon Appetit, Details, Glamour and W.
Last spring, Condé Nast tapped Smith, the former Elle publisher, to become vice president and publishing director of the Bon Appetit and Gourmet brands. She left in October, as Conde Nast was preparing to relaunch Gourmet as "Gourmet Live."
Details finished 2010 down 1.3 percent in ad pages while Bon Appetit was up 1.2 percent, according to Publishers Information Bureau.
