SendMyAd has added support for Web advertisements to its ad portal service.

The company—a subsidiary of Blanchard Systems—says advertisers and publishers using the portal can upload both print and Web ads utilizing the service’s Advertiser Dashboard. “What makes the SendMyAd approach to processing Web ad materials unique is the preflighting and interactive preflight report,” says Jessie Williams, a SendMyAd developer. “For example, the frame rate and video run time of an .swf file can be checked within the portal. As with print ads SendMyAd provides the advertiser and the publisher with an instantaneous interactive preflight report.”

The SendMyAd portal is accessible using any standard Web browser, the company says. File formats supported by the new Web ad functionality include .swf, .flv, .png, .gif and jpeg.
