Rodale’s Custom Publishing Unit Changes Name
SVP: ‘Our business has evolved, moving beyond just print programs.'

In the ever-evolving world of publishing and the move further into custom content services, Men’s Health publisher Rodale Inc. has rebranded its Rodale Custom Publishing division to Rodale Custom Content & Marketing. The change more accurately reflects the group’s core products and service offerings, Rodale says.
The rebranded custom division also launched a new Web site, RodaleCCM.com.
In connection with the rebranding, Rodale Custom Content & Marketing is moving forward with a new campaign it’s calling “Real Brands. Real Results.” “Content marketing is playing an increasingly key role in building brands, allowing marketers to connect in more real and meaningful ways with their customers,” Custom Content & Marketing senior vice president and publishing director Valerie Valente says in a statement. “This is what we’ve believed and practiced for years, and where our business has evolved, moving beyond just print programs to digital and social media and more.”
Rodale also named William J. Kelly sales director of the group, reporting to national sales director Paula Rolleston. Most recently, Kelly served as New York advertising sales manager at Golf Digest and GolfDigest.com.
Rodale's custom division clients have included Bloomingdale’s, Kraft Foods, Nissan and Walmart.
