Scranton Gillette Buys Two Medical Magazines
B-to-b publisher acquires assets from Reilly Communications Group.
Arlington Heights, Illinois-based Scranton Gillette Communications has acquired the assets of Imaging Technology News and Diagnostic & Invasive Cardiology from the Reilly Communications Group. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Scranton will continue to publish both titles, a spokesperson told FOLIO:.
Serving the medical imaging and radiation oncology market, Imaging Technology News is published nine times per year and carries a circulation of 35,000. Diagnostic & Invasive Cardiology, serving the diagnostic and interventional cardiology market, is published bi-monthly and carries a 28,000 circulation.
According to Scranton president and CEO Ed Gillette, the acquisition “opens up a new market with excellent growth potential for Scranton Gillette. Healthcare has been identified as a market of interest by Scranton Gillette for a long time.â€
Earlier this month, Scranton finalized its purchase of Residential Lighting from Vance Publishing.
