Bob Meyers is stepping down as Playboy’s president of media, the publisher has announced. Interim chairman and CEO Jerome Kern will assume Meyers’ responsibilities. Playboy said it does not immediately plan to announce a replacement.

Hearst has named George Kiliavkoff executive vice president and deputy group head of Hearst entertainment and syndication. Most recently, Kiliavkoff served as chief digital officer at NBC Universal.

F+W Media named Gary Lynch publisher and editorial director of its design community, which includes I.D., Print and How magazines. Lynch previously served as managing director of Incisive Media’s digital marketing group and Incisive Media North America.

Bonnier Corp. has promoted Kristin Cohen to associate publisher of marketing of Saveur. Cohen joined the title in March 2008 as creative services director.

Condé Nast named Pam Dolby Midwest director of Vanity Fair. Dolby transitions to Vanity Fair from Condé Nast Traveler, where she also served as Midwest director.

Hachette promoted Elle publisher Carol Smith to senior vice president and chief brand officer of the Elle Group. Anne Welch, who served as associate publisher, was promoted to vice president and brand publisher. Former executive director of marketing Brent Allen was named vice president of brand development.

Longtime Time Inc. managing editor Jim Kelly said he is leaving the company. Kelly served more than three decades with the company, including five years as managing editor of Time.

CNET parent CBS Interactive has promoted Jaci Hays to national vice president of sales, games and music. Danielle Ryniker was appointed regional (eastern) vice president.

King Fish Media named Laura McFadden art director. Most recently, McFadden was principal of Laura McFadden Design Inc.
