F+W Media has promoted Chad Phelps to executive vice president of e-media. In his new role, Phelps will lead F+W’s e-commerce efforts, as well as its e-media development. Phelps joined F+W in 2008 as vice president of digital media.
Forbes Media promoted Lorrain Cademartori to executive editor of ForbesLife magazine. Most recently, Cademartori served as managing editor.
Charlie Vogelheim was appointed executive editor of Source Interlink’s IntelliChoice.com. Previously, Vogelheim served as vice president of automotive development at McGraw-Hill’s J.D. Power and Associates.
After agreeing to buy shuttered Modern Woodworking last month, TCC Media has appointed the magazine’s new editorial and sales staffs. Among them are: Ciro Buttacavoli, who serves as publisher of TCC Media’s Industrial Equipment News, will serve as publisher; former RBI group publisher Mike Botta will serve as editorial director; Karen Roberts was named sales executive; and Jennifer Hooker was named senior editor.
