Trade publisher Schofield Media Group has promoted Brian Reshefsky to group president. Based in Chicago, Reshefsky will lead the company’s U.S. and European operations. He was named COO in 2008 and will retain those responsibilities as group president.
Magazine printer World Color Press (formally Quebecor World) named Andrew P. Hines interim CFO. A CPA, Hines since 2000 has served as managing partner of Hines & Associates, a restructuring and financial management advisory firm.
Tricia Clarke-Stone has resigned from her role as director of integrated sales at Emmis Interactive. According to Emmis, Clarke-Stone’s responsibilities will be absorbed by remaining Interactive staffers.
In a move it said effectively completed its initiative to fully integrate its business operations, Hanley Wood announced the formation of a new data collection division, Marketing Intelligence and E-Media, and said it will be led by Andy Reid, who will serve as president and report to company president Peter Goldstone. Other staffing changes include: Curtis Hine was promoted to senior director of human resources; Jason
Mason, managing director of operations and infrastructure, will expand
his responsibilities to include business systems and project management
groups; and Ron Kraft will now oversee business management activities
for HW’s market verticals.
In another move from Hanley Wood, Katie Weeks was named editor of eco-structure magazine and eco-structure.com. Most recently, Weeks served as senior editor at Contract magazine.
Alex Robertson was appointed national account manager at Soundings Publications’ Woodshop News. Previously, Robertson served as classified sales manager at Woodshop News, Soundings and Soundings Trade Only.
Hearst’s Country Living magazine named Chris Allen vice president and publisher, succeeding Steven Grune who moved to Hearst’s integrated media group. Allen previously served as vice president and publisher of Cooking Light.
SmartMoney.com, another Hearst property, named Eileen Daspin deputy editor. Most recently, Daspin served as a senior editor at Condé Nast’s Portfolio.
