The National Geographic Society has promoted Declan Moore to senior vice president of international publishing. Previously, Moore served as international publisher of National Geographic magazine.
Disney Publishing Worldwide named Robert W. Hernandez senior vice president and general manager of global magazines. Hernandez most recently headed the National Geographic Society’s international publishing and alliances division, which he founded in 1995.
Bauer's Life & Style has promoted Caitlin Kiernan to beauty director. Kiernan previously served as beauty features editor.
Las Vegas-based Greenspun Media has named Katia Kravtchenko director of business development for its Niche Media Western division team. Most recently, Kravtchenko served as a public relations manager at Neiman Marcus.
Alex Grossman has been named design director for WSJ., the Wall Street Journal's lifestyle magazine. Grossman previously served as art director for Cookie.

Interweave, a unit of Loveland, Colorado-based Aspire Media, announced today that Marilyn Murphy will step down on March 1 as president and publisher of the fiber division. Murphy will stay on as editorial director of the campany's yarn division. CEO Clay Hall will assume Murphy's duties as president.
