McCurdy, Kupper Among New Cygnus Board Members
Board also includes newly-appointed CEO John French.
After officially emerging from bankruptcy protection and appointing former Penton Media chief executive John French as CEO, Cygnus Business Media today has announced its new board of directors.
Among them are: Apprise Media and Canon Communications CEO Charlie McCurdy; former TV Filme CFO Al Aguirre; Goldman Sachs Special Situations Group director John Balzer; George L. Hundley Jr., who serves as chairman of ProfessionalTravelGuide.com; former BusinessWeek president and publisher William P. Kupper Jr.; and French.
“Each of our board members has participated in the industry from launching start-ups to establishing world leading mediums,†French said in a statement. “Experience, knowledge and hands-on expertise will provide us with a competitive edge and a unique vision of the future.â€
