Three years after leaving Source Media as part of a restructuring, Bruce Morris rejoins the financial publisher as part of a new restructuring in which he will oversee both the Investment Advisor and Technology groups as executive vice president and managing director (Morris previously served as president of the company’s banking and corporate groups).

Morris replaces former Investment Advisor group publisher Jennifer Weiss, who left to join 1105 Media. His first official day back at Source is August 10.

"I’m still an equity holder in Source and I got a call a couple weeks ago about the restructuring and asking if I was interested," Morris told FOLIO. "This is a great opportunity to come back to a business I spent 14 years with and considering I’m still an equity holder, I get a chance to take care of my investment."

Source CEO Jim Malkin said, "A consummate professional, Bruce knows the B2B space, the products, the players and the market.  He will be able to add real value to our teams’ efforts and enthusiasm as they continue to build on the momentum gained in recent months."

Since leaving Source, Morris had served as COO of Louise Blouin Media, publisher of Art+Auction and Modern Painters.
