ABM: B-to-B Ad Revenue Could Fall 22 Percent
Association downgrades previous prediction by as much as 12 percent.
American Business Media today said the economic recession could force advertising revenue in the b-to-b space down 19 to 22 percent in 2009—down from its prediction last fall that ad revenues would decrease 10 to 14 percent.
On the digital side, ABM said revenues could grow 9 to 11 percent this year. That’s down from 14 to 16 percent growth, which it called for last fall.
In events, ABM said ad losses could be 5 to 7 percent this year, down slightly from its previous prediction of 4 to 6 percent losses.
