Condé Nast has named Lisa Jordan Helms as associate publisher of Vogue. Previously, Helms served as associate publisher of InStyle. Her appointment is effective immediately.
Nielsen Business Media has promoted three executives to senior leadership roles within the company's newly-created Enterainment Group: licensing and events vice president Howard Applebaum has been named vice president and publisher of Billboard magazine; Music & Literary and Film & Performing Arts groups vice president and general manager Andrew Bilbao has been named vice president and chief operating officer; and Eric Mika, who served as senior vice president and publishing director, has been named vice president and publisher of The Hollywood Reporter.
Rodale has announced a number of personnel changes: Barnes & Noble finanance and operations vice president Roy Levenson has been named vice president of finance; Bonnier Active Media's Joanne Ferenczi has been named group editorial finance director for Rodale's magazine group; and Karen Rinaldi has been named to the newly created position(s) of senior vice president, general manager and publishing director of Rodale Books.
American Express Publishing has named Pamela Norwood vice president and associate publisher of marketing for Travel + Leisure magazine. Most recently, Norwood was executive director of creative services at GQ. She rejoins Travel + Leisure after seven years at various other publications.
Parade has appointment Luci Scott director of project development for the magazine and Web site. Previously, Luci served as regional director of newspaper relations at USA Weekend.
New York Times music critic Kelefa Sanneh is leaving the newspaper for The New Yorker. He is expected to cover the magazine’s culture beat.
ALM has promoted Chris Mobley to group publisher of the company’s Atlanta- and Miami-based properties. Previously Mobley served as publisher of the Daily Business Review.
Wenner Media’s Rolling Stone has promoted two editors. Deputy managing editors Eric Bates and Jason Fine have been promoted to executive editors. Bates and Fine replace Joe Levy, who left the magazine in January to join rival Blender.
Jennifer Terzian has been appointed as a sales account executive for Condé Nast's Vogue Meixo and Latinoamérica. Previously, Terzian served as an account executive at PR firm TARA, Ink.
Former min’s b2b editor Jeremy Greenfield has been named editor of New York City-based Story Worldwide’s post-advertising media channel. In his new role Greenfield will help create a series of blogs, social media groups and other digital applications.
Texterity has announced a number of management changes. Cimarron Buser has been appointed to senior vice president of marketing and business development, Carl Scholz to senior vice president of technology and operations, and Bob Ludwick to vice president of sales.
