Carla Rohlfing Levy has been promoted to executive editor of Self. She had been the nutrition and diet director there.
Disney Publishing Worldwide has named Aparna Pande vice president and general manager of U.S. consumer magazines. Pande most recently served as general manager of Meredith's parenthood group.
Former Boston magazine publisher Paul Reulbach has been named general manager and vice president of media sales and consulting for marketing and publishing services firm the Pohly Company. Reulbach will be responsible for building an international sales and consulting organization and will manage the company’s advertising sales programs.
Ziff Davis Media has named Ken Detlet vice president of digital sales for the PCMag Network, which includes PCMag.com, ExtremeTech.com and SmartDeviceCentral.com. Previously, Detlet served as vice president of national sales at Gannett Digital.
Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia has named Vanessa Holden vice president and editor-in-chief of Martha Stewart Weddings. Most recently, Holden ran Vanessa Holden AD+D, a consulting firm focused on magazine development as well as book and branding projects. Before that, she served as creative director at Real Simple.
Questex Media Group has named Gideon Dean executive vice president of its Travel Media Group. Most recently, Dean served as senior vice president of global hospitality sales and marketing for TIG Global.
Glam Media has appointed Yukihiro Yamamura as CEO of its newly-formed subsidiary, Glam Media Japan KK, and as a vice president of Glam Media Inc. Yamamura most recently served as CEO of Excite Japan, a position he held since 1999.
Consumer enthusiast publisher New Track Media has appointed Dennis O’Brien vice president of consumer marketing, responsible for the circulation management of the company’s portfolio of magazines. Previously, O’Brien served as vice president of circulation at Connecticut-based special interest publisher the Taunton Press.
Meredith Corporation has named Dana Points editor-in-chief of Parents magazine. Points will report to Sally Lee, former editor-in-chief of Parents, who inow serves as senior vice president and New York editorial director; and as editor-in-chief of Ladies’ Home Journal.
Dylan McGrath has rejoined TechInsights' EE Times as West Coast online editor, one month after the publication transitioned from a tabloid newspaper to a magazine format. McGrath worked for EE Times from 2005-2007 covering EDA, semiconductors, semiconductor equipment and consumer electronics.

Paonita, who formerly served as executive editor, replaces Robin Sparkman, who was appointed executive editor of Incisive's The American Lawyer earlier this year. Corporate Counsel senior editor Brian Zabcik will replace Paonita as executive editor.
