Rodale has appointed Stacey Klein as vice president of human resources. Previously, Klein served as senior executive director of human resources at Condé Nast.

Circulation fulfillment company Hallmark Data Systems has named Joel Besner director of new business development. Most recently, Besner served as director of new business for Gas Turbine World magazine. He replaces Glen Giles who was killed at his home in February.

Jim McCabe has resigned as executive vice president of Ziff Davis' PCMAG Network. McCabe also had served as publisher of PC Magazine.

CurtCo Publishing has named Christopher Schulz president of its Gulfshore Media division, which includes Gulfshore Life and Sarasota magazines. Schulz joins CurtCo from Freedom Communications where he most recently served as group publisher and vice president of Freedom Specialty Media.

Las Vegas-based Greenspun Media has announced a number of staffing changes. Debbie Donaldson has been named associate publisher of In Business Las Vegas; Wayne Courtney was promoted to advertising director of Home News; and Bruce Spotleson was promoted to general manager of the Home News and group publisher of Greenspun’s newspaper division.

Nick Pastula has been named fashion director of American Express Publishing’s Travel + Leisure. Previously, Pastula was fashion director at Spin magazine.

Hearst has appointed Janet Siroto as executive editor of Good Housekeeping magazine. Most recently, Siroto served as editorial director at online dating site Match.com.

Former Glamour associate publisher Alison Adler Matz has been named publisher of Brides magazine. Before joining Glamour Matz served as associate publisher at Teen Vogue.

Maxim has named Steve Garbarino editor-at-large. For the last two years, Garbarino served as editor-in-chief of Blackbook magazine. He also is a contributing writer at Vanity Fair.

Meredith’s More magazine has named Debra Bishop creative director. Bishop most recently served as a vice president of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. She replaces Maxine Davidowitz, who left the company earlier this year. Also, Meredith has appointed Elizabeth E. Tallett to the company's board of directors. Tallett is a principal of Hunter Partners, LLC, a management company for early- to mid-stage pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies.

CFO, an Economist Group magazine, has announced several staffing changes as part of a reorganization: Editor-in-chief Julia Homer has been promoted to the newly created position of senior vice president and chief content officer, overseeing the brand’s print, digital and events projects; replacing Homer is Scott Leibs who has been named executive editor; Lori Calabro was named editorial director of CFO Conferences; Tim Reason was named editorial director of CFO.com; and Sam Knox was named vice president and director of research. Also, senior vice president and director of advertising Lissa Short will take on selling online advertising and sponsorships and John Pal was named vice president of e-media..

Science News, the bi-weekly magazine of the Society for Science & the Public, has named Bob Gray design director. Gray joins the magazine from AARP where he was design lead for the recently launched AARP Bulletin Web site. Previously, he served as design editor at National Geographic and art director at National Geographic Traveler.

Blair Schlumbom
has been named associate publisher at Condé Nast’s Allure magazine. Schlumbom previously was associate publisher of Gourmet.

Bonnier’s Popular Science magazine has announced a pair of personnel changes. Michael Gallic was promoted to marketing director of the PopSci Media Group and Brian Glaser was named digital sales development manager of PopSci.com.

When I asked the folks over at Wired about staffing changes they said they have none to report.
