Former Business 2.0 editor Josh Quittner has returned to Time magazine as editor-at-large. After Time Inc. folded Business 2.0 last September, Quittner was reassigned to sister publication Fortune.

American Express Publishing has named Wendy Mure vice president of marketing for Food & Wine. Most recently, Mure served as brand development director at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.

Real Simple has announced a pair of personnel changes. Cate Carley has been named national sales director of digital and Nicole Segarra has been named senior account manager of digital.

Baltimore magazine has appointed Lori Birney as circulation director. Previously Birney was circulation director at Metro Corp., which publishes Philadelphia and Boston magazines.

Longtime O, The Oprah Magazine editor-in-chief Amy Gross is stepping down from her post. Before joining the magazine eight years ago, Gross served as features editor at Vogue.

Time Inc.’s Fortune-Money Group has named Diana Sousa vice president of communications. Previously, Sousa was head of global marketing communications at Momentive Performance Materials.

McGraw-Hill Companies’ Aviation Week has made a pair of staffing changes. Paul McLeary has joined the magazine as Defense Technology International senior North American editor, and aerospace and tech journalist Graham Warwick has been named senior editor of technology.
