FOLIO: Awards Finalists Unveiled
Winners to be announced next week during FOLIO: Show.
The finalists for the 2008 FOLIO: Awards, the largest awards competition in magazine publishing, have been announced. This year, there are more than 350 finalists across nearly 120 categories.
For the Eddies Award—which recognizes excellence in editorial—some of the top nominees include BusinessWeek for b-to-b best banking/business/finance full issue, American Media Inc.’s Health magazine for best concumer health/firness full issue and Inc. for best online news coverage.
Recognizing excellence in magazine design, some of the top finalists for the Ozzie Award are Billboard (best b-to-b overall design), ELDR (best new consumer magazine design) and Time for best consumer site design.
Award winners will be announced next week during the FOLIO: Show in Chicago.
