More than 20 publishers have already signed on to new custom content “matchmaking” service Junta42 Match since its beta launch last week. The online service is designed to connect publishers seeking new custom business with marketers seeking a provider, replacing the lengthy and laborious RFP process which takes “anywhere from a couple days to a couple months” and “boiling it down to fifteen minutes,” says Junta42 Match founder Joe Pulizzi.

The service—which, according to Pulizzi, is based on a LinkedIn-style platform custom-built by Junta42—requires member publishers to complete profiles that list their areas of expertise and experience, including specific client and project history information. The profiles are audited by Junta42 Match via Web verification and phone calls, when necessary. Marketers, who can access the site for free, will be able to search the profiles according to their needs and specifications.

Participating publishers can opt to pay $400 per month or $4,000 per year for the service, following a free 60-day trial.

Pulizzi aims to have at least 100 publishers in the database by June 15, when he expects the site to officially launch and be open to marketers.
