Wenner Names Men’s Journal Editor
Wenner Media chairman Jann Wenner has promoted Men’s Journal executive editor Brad Wieners to editor.
Wenner’s top pick was said to be Wall Street Journal assistant managing editor Ed Felsenthal. “There were many exceptional candidates. But, happily for us, Brad stood out in terms of his commitment, passion and energy,” Wenner said in a statement. “It is always a pleasure to promote someone from within the company.”
Wieners replaces James Kaminsky, who recently joined newly-formed Alpha Media Group as editorial director at Maxim.
