Summit Business Media Closes Agent Media Deal

Summit Business Media closed on its acquisition of Agent Media Corp., a deal first announced in June.

Agent Media publishes Agent’s Sales Journal, which has a 50,000-circulation national edition and 11 regional editions that reach 390,000 insurance providers; and the 13,500-circ Insurance Marketing. The company also manages a 1.7 million-name database of licensed agents.

The deal is a significant step in Summit founder Bill Reilly’s wish to build Summit into a $500 million company over the next few years. Summit also purchased Wicks Business Information in the same week in June.

DeSilva & Phillips represented Post Capital Partners, former owner of Agent Media, in the deal.
