American Trucker Improves Web Site

Penton Media's American Trucker magazine has enhanced the data delivery and search capabilities of its recently relaunched Web site, Trucker.com.

One important change was made to place advertiser equipment data on the site from seller-supplied digital files, making it easier for advertisers to post equipment and control their content, the company says in a release. The Web site's search tools have been upgraded also to allow buyers to filter results by zip code, detailed location of equipment and other categories.

American Trucker, which serves the b-to-b truck sales market for new and used trucks, is part of Penton Media's Information Data Products Division.

"We're focused on providing our industry professionals with a content-rich environment while giving them the ability to communicate and collaborate with one another," Petfood Industry editor-in-chief Debbie Phillips says in the statement.

New Partnership Expands IT and Engineering Services

The acquisition of Techcareers.com allows Beyond.com to gain broad penetration within the IT and engineering sectors, and expands its recruitment advertising product portfolio so employers can purchase online and print advertising targeting the technical job seekers who already go CMP for its content, a news release says.
