Cartoon Network Magazine Set To Launch in Middle East and North Africa
Kuwait-based company will publish nine issues per year.
Arabic and English-language versions of Cartoon Network Magazine are set to launch in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), under the terms of an agreement between Jason Rice, Northern European territory manager for Cartoon Network, and Naif Al-Mutawa, CEO of Kuwait-based Teshkeel, publisher of comics and other children's entertainment in the Arab World.
Teshkeel will publish nine 32-page issues a year, with comics, puzzles, games, and giveaways targeted at boys and girls ages 6-12.
Al-Mutawa said in a statement that Cartoon Network has a long history of entertaining children, and his company is "proud to be working with them to pass that same sense of excitement on to children in our region."
