First Bono, now 1980's pop star Prince wants to publish a magazine. Prince, who briefly changed his name to a symbol in the 1990's, is said to be shopping around a title called 3121 Magazine that would be named for a Las Vegas nightclub where Prince currently performs. The publication would feature interviews with musicians and photos taken by Prince, whose songs include Purple Rain, Little Red Corvette and 1999.

U2 frontman Bono and his investment company, Elevation Partners bought Forbes last year and are said to be bidders on some or all of the Time Inc. properties that are currently for sale. It is not known which publishers have been approached with Prince's concept.
