Editor in chief of Tooling & Production magazine Joseph F. McKenna will take on the additional role of the magazine's associate publisher. He began his career at Tooling & Production as an associate editor in 1995.

Sacramento, California-based Prosper Media has added four members to its management team. Jeffrey Young, former editor-in-chief of Forbes, has signed on as editor-in-chief of Prosper magazine. Michael Ashker comes on board as managing partner. He is a venture capitalist from outside the publishing industry. Scott Doniger, VP of marketing and circulation, also comes from outside the industry, having worked for BMW North American and Forrester Research. Sales manager, Caroline Logan, was most recently with WebEx.

Meredith Corporation has named Brian Kightlinger publisher of Midwest Living. He replaces Peter Gross who has left the company. Most recently, Kightlinger was associate publisher for the Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Media Group.

Michelle Alvarez, former senior manager of public relations for Hearst, has joined AARP Publications as senior manager of media relations.

Prevention.com has named Nicola Bridges editorial director. Bridges joins the Rodale title from iVillage, where she served as VP of editorial programming.
