Charles McCullagh, vice president of membership services, has been named senior vice president of membership services.
Raanan Bar-Cohen is leaving to join Dow Jones. As director of business technology, Bar-Cohen oversaw the development of Time’s complete, full-text archive, going back to 1923.

Matthew Usher has been named editor of FineScale Modeler. He was formerly senior editor at the magazine.

Art Jewelry has named Hazel Wheaton editor of this bimonthly jewelry publication. Wheaton was formerly managing editor of Lapidary Journal.

Life & Style has promoted deputy editor-in-chief, Debra Birnbaum to editor-in-chief Before joining the Life & Style team earlier this year, Birnbaum held a variety of editorial positions at the New York Post, Us Weekly, Redbook and More.

ALM’s has added two legal commentators as the new editors of its Legal Blog Watch. Robert Ambrogi, a Massachusetts lawyer, writer and blogger will co-host alongside Carolyn Elefant, a solo practitioner who created My Shingle blog to help solo practitioners and small firms trade advice and accomplishments.

Interweave Press has named Annie Bakken marketing manager of the knitting, needlework, and spinning market groups. Former Penton Media marketing manager, Rae Dawn Olbert, will be marketing manager of the beading market group while Laura Levaas will take on the role of marketing manager of the weaving market group.

Former Organic Style special projects editor and how-to author Danny Seo has been named style editor for Country Home. His column, tentatively titled "Fresh Thinking", will debut in the magazine’s June issue.

Glenn Coleman has been named deputy editor of Popular Science. He was formerly assistant managing editor at Money.
