American Business Media celebrated its 100th anniversary Thursday night with a black tie Centennial Gala held at the American Museum of Natural History. About 500 business media leaders, media bankers, private equity professionals, vendors and others attended the event, which began with a cocktail reception in the museum’s Theodore Roosevelt Rotunda.

The reception was followed by dinner and music in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life in the American Museum of Natural History. ABM CEO Gordon Hughes and Chairman Michael Marchesano, speaking to guests before dinner, said the event marked the organization’s past, present and "promising future."
